The first few times I saw this shop it was when they were closed. I could not figure out how it could be so adorable and so tiny. When I finally got inside, it amazed me how much is in there. And not just anything. When I walked in, it was like I waas transported into reality of mythical times splashed with a farmhouse cozy feel. Definitely a place to experience!

Named for Hilde

Hilde Hauc (pronounced h-ILL-d-ee h-OW-k) is named for my great-grandmother. She was widowed in the 1920s and raised her children through the Great Depression, and somehow she still found ways to make life beautiful. She taught me that what we make with care and intention lasts. I think about her every time I pour.
